Review of Nepali Movie — Ainaa Jhyal Ko Putali AKA Butterfly on the Windowpane

While watching this; Even TEARS became cheap.

I went on to QFX Cinemas Birtamode to watch this movie on September 22, 2022 with two friends viz. Yubraj and Ashish. I was very much excited to watch this film from the first day of its release but the exams chained all my mind and body with books. So, as soon as the exams completed I searched for its shows around Birtamode but I was totally nervous as there were no any shows in any cinema theater of Jhapa. Because this film has not collected good audiences, the theater stopped its show.  Since, it was my strong desire to watch it, I even appealed to the movie director Sujit Bidari via social sites to make environment for us on watching it in Theatre. As stated in Paulo Coelho's world famous book The Alchemist- "When you really want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you to achieve it", I get notifications in the QFX Cinema's app saying - Aaina Jhyal ko Putali got final show on theatre of Birtamode at 12:30 P.M on 22 September 2022.
Now, it was hard to convince my friends to make this film but due to God's grace, this movie was selected by Nepali film industry for submission to the 95th Academy award for Best International feature film category. Hence, we three went to watch film on two motorcycles. I payed for all three tickets and we watched the Movie.

I assume — No human being in the Earth will dislike this film. The fantastic display of acting by Bidya, Basanta and Bange is proof that talent of natural acting has no age limit. It is at the maximum height of creativity and salute to the director who excelled in writing and directing it.

Watching this film is like
- listening to Osho's discourse,
- or time traveling to see your own childhood,
- or playing a movie yourself by stepping inside the screen.

It has the ability to change mood, add warmth to our mind and body, and take us back to memories of a time that were often idealized with excitement and longing.

In brief, its nostalgic.

This film is excellent in all aspects such as the technical aspect, the presentation aspect of the story, the emotional aspect of the characters, and the artistic quality of the presentation.

This film not only tells the story of Nepali women but of women of entire Asia continent because I've heard that, after watching this film at the Busan Film Festival, a female audience came to the organizers with tears in her eyes and said, “This is my story. How did my story become a film? Thank you for showing such a great film!”

P.S: This review is added on IMDb as well as letterboxd.
